Marketing Assistant (part-time, two to three days per week, approximately 10-20 hours per week.
The Marketing Assistant will be primarily responsible for assisting the Director of Marketing and Business Development with marketing and administrative functions of the Firm. Strong computer database skills are required.
These marketing and administrative functions are expected to consist primarily of the following:
1. Marketing. The Marketing Assistant would work with the Firm’s Director of Marketing and Business Development in (i) using the Firm’s database to coordinate delivery of the Firm’s research reports and other materials on a regular basis, (ii) maintaining the data contained within the Firm’s database, (iii) coordinating meetings between the Firm’s professionals and prospective clients, (iv) coordinating events and sponsorship activities between the Firm and the organizations to which it belongs or that it sponsors, and (v) conducting such research as is required to accomplish the above.
2. Administration. The Marketing Assistant will assist in day-to-day management of the Firm’s office, including (i) an Act! central database and contact management system, including any related report writing system, and (ii) such other incidental duties as are typically required within office administration, such as assisting on travel arrangements on an as needed basis.
3. Support. As a professional services firm, the Firm is conscious of always carefully and professionally servicing its clients. Part of the Marketing Assistant’s job will be to assist the Firm’s professionals in that effort.
